Interactive Marketing and Multimedia Development
The phrase ” Interactive Marketing “ always catches the ears of those involved with marketing and education. Multimedia development can aid any business with disseminating information, whether marketing-based and offered to potential customers for free such as an interactive marketing CD-ROM, or education-based and offered to customers and students for a price such as an educational CD-ROM product.
Award-winning multimedia development firm, Chase Information Systems, Inc., is providing a free seminar on Interactive Marketing and Multimedia Development . This seminar will educate those attending on exactly what interactive marketing and multimedia development are, and how they can help create a visual image that will get your company results. Also discussed will be the associated costs of development, and how these services can be used as a tool for marketing and educating.
In our post-modern culture, marketing and educational products must entertain and inform, in order to interest your client or customer. It is crucial to captivate the viewer with multiple relevant stimuli. Furthermore, research has proven that individuals retain more of what they see and hear if the information is presented in a multimedia format specifically tailored to the audience.
Look, listen, and learn…

Online Product Display and RFQ Generating Systems
Displaying products or services online in a “shopping cart” type of environment is a crucial next step for many manufacturers and small businesses alike. Though the displayed products are not necessarily sold through such a program online, as often the products must be modified or even manufactured first. Yet showcasing the products online in an online product display is provided for three purposes. 1) To generate initial interest in the products or services, 2) to allow the potential customer to view critical information about the products or services necessary to be known before placing an order, and 3) to actively engage the potential customer with products and services showcasing options and modifications to spur ideas or make connections.
In such a system products are viewed by drilling down a list of product categories, and within a few clicks the online visitor is viewing the specific product or service they are interested in. The potential customer may then select options (i.e., modifications) for the product, customizing what it is that they want.
Building onto the product display capability, the industry is now seeing Smart Forms being utilized to assist in the generation of a Request-for-Quote (RFQ) based upon what the potential customer (website visitor) is viewing from the online product display. This system acts somewhat like an online shopping cart, and by using intelligent forms to ask the “right questions” the user can select specific properties they desire (i.e., options). The smart forms ask questions that are based upon the user's previous selections, so that the potential customer can choose the specific options they desire for the product line that they are interested in. What this means on the back-end is that an RFQ is generated. Though a conversation with a sales agent may also ensue after the RFQ is generated, ensuring that the RFQ is accurate, however much of the initial groundwork is done by the potential customer through this system that empowers them. Once the RFQ is generated, it is then posted to a sales office, and even to a specific sales agent if desired.
In essence an RFQ generating system stimulates new business growth as well as eases the process of preparing quotes. It aids a sales team in the time consuming and tedious process of quoting by allowing the potential customer to provide the input necessary to create the quote by empowering the customer, which in turn eases the work required in the quoting process.
To learn more about online product display and/or RFQ generation, as well as to see specific examples of such being offered by Chase Information Systems, please attend this seminar. Mr. Pattison kindly requests all parties interested in attending this workshop to please stop by the Chase Information Systems booth prior so that a head count can be calculated (though this is not necessary, CIS asks for your cooperation in this manner).
